integration into the mobile or stationary Vectron POS system ensures that

Radio waiter call system
Dissatisfied guests and lost profits were an almost inevitable consequence of
overlooked
orders - until now. However, customers can now use the convenient, discreet
Vectron ServiceCall
system to attract the attention of waiting staff in the unlikely event that they
are
overlooked. The system allows waiting staff to be employed more efficiently,
turnover and
tips increase and customer satisfaction levels are given a visible boost.
Complete integration in all Vectron POS system
models
The radio receiver for the transceivers can be connected to all Vectron POS
systems. It is
possible to allocate each table a separate radio transceiver in the POS system,
in addition
to determining whether one or several waiters should receive the calls. The
Vectron POS
systems integrate the radio call function smoothly into existing routines.
Radio calls cause table symbol on graphic table
plan to flash
If a graphic table plan is being used, tables sending radio calls to waiting
staff via the system
start to flash in a signal colour. The responsible waiting staff can thus see
which tables are
requesting service immediately. An additional „window“ provides restaurant
managers with
a complete overview of the service situation at all times.
Programmable escalation levels
In the event that a radio call is not responded to within a set time, the table
symbol in the
graphic table plan begins to flash more quickly. Messages can also be sent to
other waiting
staff at the same time.
Ideal for use with Vectron POS MobilePro and
vibration alarm
The real-time transmission of radio calls is guaranteed if the waiter is using a
Vectron POS
MobilePro. Flashing signal LEDs and the in-built vibration alarm inform the
operator immediately,
allowing him to review the list of radio calls on the screen before processing
them.
Battery-operated table transceivers
The wireless transceivers are easy to position because they are
battery-operated. The battery
capacity is sufficient for over 50,000 radio calls, which should equate to
several years of
average use.
In-built table transceivers also available
An in-built version of the table transceiver is available in addition to the
splash-proof mounted
transceiver. This can be installed directly in the table top or in a chair‘s
arm-rest, for
example.
Generous interference-free range in the 869 MHz
frequency
The system does not function using the 433 MHz frequency, the usual frequency
for many
garage door openers, car remote control devices etc., which is often subject to
serious radio
interference. Instead, the industrial 869 MHz frequency is used, which is only
approved
for professional industrial applications. The prescribed radio protocols prevent
radio interference.
The range should be sufficient in virtually all cases.
Radio repeater enables large area coverage
Radio coverage can be secured via additional radio repeaters in catering
businesses in which
extremely large areas have to be serviced, or in which the presence of several
walls lessens
the force of the radio waves.
Almost unlimited number of table transceivers may
be used
As an almost unlimited amount of radio transceivers may be used, the system is
also suitable
for extremely large enterprises. The transceivers can even be built into all the
arm-rests in
multi-screen cinemas or variety theatres, for example.
